Welcome to The Career Catalyst Cohort: Navigating Strategy and Success Together! This innovative cohort course is designed for professionals ready to take their careers to the next level through collaborative learning and strategic planning. Over the course of six engaging sessions, participants will come together to share insights, tackle challenges, and develop actionable strategies tailored to their individual career goals.

Each session will feature dynamic discussions and expert-led workshops on various essential topics. Some of the key sessions will include:

  • Utilizing LinkedIn: Learn how to optimize your LinkedIn profile, expand your network, and leverage the platform for career opportunities.
  • Finding Your Confidence: Discover techniques to boost your self-esteem and present yourself assertively in any professional setting.
  • Building a Job Search Strategy: Develop a comprehensive job search plan that includes notifying target industries, networking strategies, and effective application techniques.

In addition to these focused sessions, the cohort will collaboratively choose other relevant topics, ensuring that the curriculum meets the unique needs of all participants. This course fosters a supportive environment where members hold each other accountable, share their experiences, and celebrate successes together.

Class Details:

This class will meet Mondays and Wednesdays at 3:00pm ET for 1.5 hours.  Speakers will talk for 30 minutes, with times for questions and peer networking.  Class schedule is as follows:

Week 1:

Monday, December 9

Time: 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM ET / 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM PT

Session Title: Introduction & Course Overview

Description: Kick off the cohort with introductions, setting expectations, and discussing individual career goals.

Wednesday, December 11

Time: 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM ET /4:00 PM - 5:30 PM PT

Session Title: Utilizing LinkedIn

Description: Learn how to optimize your LinkedIn profile and network effectively to unlock career opportunities.

Week 2:

Monday, December 16

Session Title: Finding Your Confidence In a Tough Job Market

Description: Explore strategies to enhance self-confidence and present yourself assertively in professional settings.

Session Title: Final Thoughts & Next Steps

Description: Reflect on key learnings, share individual action plans, and discuss ways to maintain momentum post-course.


Class Expectations

Class Size:

Our cohort is designed to be an intimate and interactive learning environment, so class size is limited to 20 participants.

Attendance Commitment: We understand that life can be unpredictable. If you sign up for the cohort and can not attend, please let us know.  This way, we can offer your seat to someone on the waiting list who is eager to participate. 

Class Recordings:  We will record guest speakers but not the class conversations (to protect confidentiality) 

Participation: Active participation is encouraged! Each member’s insights and experiences enrich our discussions and learning. Be prepared to share your thoughts, ask questions, and support your fellow cohort members.  

Confidentiality: We want to create a safe space for sharing. What is discussed in the cohort stays in the cohort. Respecting confidentiality will help build trust among participants.

Feedback: We welcome feedback throughout the course. If there are specific topics you’d like to explore further or suggestions for improvement, please share your thoughts with us. Your input is invaluable in shaping the cohort experience.
