We're all learning to code, whether you've just decided to get started or you've been at it for years. Come hang out for a couple of hours on the second Tuesday of each month with some friendly fellow coders.
This Code & Coffee features a Test Driven Development workshop! This workshop is suitable for those who are new to Ruby and Test Driven Development. We will cover the basic concepts of TDD, followed by a pairing session. We are happy to help you clone the git repo at the beginning of the workshop. Otherwise, you can clone the git repo here: https://github.com/LNA/PassRuby
Please note that this workshop is completely optional, and as always all languages and skill levels are welcome. Bring a project you're working on or jump in on some pair exercises. Will you learn something new this week or be the one teaching? Probably both! Bring your own laptop and find out.
Thanks to our host, 8th Light, for sharing their space, their beverages and light snacks with us. If you haven't heard of them, they craft software, from web applications to robotic, that is beautiful, durable, and shows pride in workmanship.
