About this event

Have you ever used a website or product that just works, and wondered "How did they do that?" Are you building your own application but aren't sure where to start? UX professionals create experiences that are delightful and easy to use by defining who users really are and designing products to meet users' goals and needs. This class is suited for beginners to design and UX.

In this workshop, we'll show you how it's done and get hands-on putting some of the basics into practice.

This is a two-week course, with sessions from 6:30-8:30 PM on Tuesdays August 5 and 12. Makeup sessions are not offered.

Dates: Tuesdays, August 5 and 12 from 6:30-8:30 PM

Cost: $45

Location: Groupon, 600 W Chicago Ave, 4th Floor in Hello Food South

Instructor: Golli Hashemian

Golli is the Director of User Experience at GiveForward, where she gets to help people raise money online for their loved ones in need. She is co-founder of DUXX: Women of Design & UX and a design mentor and team advisor at the Starter League. She believes that a user-centered design approach can solve all the world's problems. And if that doesn't work, an improviser's attitude is her go-to approach.
