Some of our Panelists:

Martha Damerell: Martha has been a technical recruiter for 20 years.  Her firm, HR Options, Inc., works with large and small companies to help them attract and retain top IT talent.  She does full lifecycle recruiting from sourcing through salary negotiation.  Martha is a Chicago resident and enjoys music, movies and reading biographies.

Allison DiDominick:  Allison DiDominick is a Sr. Technical Recruiter on Groupon’s Chicago Recruiting team and a co-chair of Women at Groupon’s special events committee.  Her focus is finding top engineering and product development talent for Groupon’s Chicago office and connecting individuals with their dream job.

The journey into recruiting started ages ago at the University of Illinois and sprouted into creation (and a paid job) in 2006.

Before she shared a floor with a giant cat in a spaceship, she worked at Enova, Career Education Corporation, MedFocus and The Larko Group recruiting top accounting, finance, marketing, HR, administrative, culinary and pharmaceutical professionals. When she's no talking to engineers, she's playing with her favorite furry baby, Oscar Pug Wilde, who coincidentally is her team's mascot.

Molly Jones: Molly Jones is a Talent Acquisition Specialist and proud team member of Sprout Social. At Sprout, she handles the technical recruiting, as well as college hiring efforts. Originally from Los Angeles, Molly got her degree from the University of Miami in Florida. Upon moving to Chicago, she started working at Groupon, and eventually made her way into Engineering Recruiting. After three years there, she moved to Sprout Social and is absolutely in love with it. Molly can also be seen performing improv around town at iO, Comedy Sportz, CIC, and The Playground Theatre.

Laurent Tafoya: Lauren is a Technical Recruiter at Enova. She has worked in the recruiting industry, primarily within financial services, for the past three years. Lauren specializes in full-life cycle recruiting, sourcing, and partnering with business groups to make sound hiring decisions. She is a Chicago native who throughly enjoys trying new restaurants, craft beers, and watching old episodes of Breaking Bad! You can find Lauren on your favorite social network, @ltafoya89 on Twitter, and Lauren Tafoya on LinkedIn.
