This is an action-oriented all day workshop for women and non-binary coders, customized to empower you as a leader in tech.
Want to learn how to own your expertise and present yourself and your accomplishments with confidence? Convert your expertise into thought leadership, conference speaking, and open source contributing.
The workshop will help you think more expansively about your knowledge and experience, laying the foundation for you to become a blogger, conference speaker, and open source contributor.
You'll go through an Impostor Syndrome workshop, generate a list of topics you can write or speak about, present yourself as an expert, and do practical exercises focussed on writing, speaking, and coding for open source. We will also have new exercises for those who have previously attended!
We are providing breakfast/lunch/snack for all dietary needs, nursing rooms, and our facilities are wheelchair accessible. We will also provide childcare services, CART/ASL services, and any other accessibility needs - tell us on the registration form or let us know at firstname.lastname@example.org
