Due to the restrictions of Meetup's registration, we can't schedule multi-day events, so keep in mind that this Meetup event serves as registration for the entire 4-session course (April 7, 14, 21 and 28; 7-9p).  

Introduction to HTML/CSS: 

Want to learn how to build your own website? Already have your own Tumblr/Wordpress/etc site, but want to have more control over it? Interested in learning to program but want to start small? This class is for you! 

We will guide you through the basics of HTML and CSS, give you some readily-applicable skills, and answer any questions you may have along the way.

Outline of Sessions:

This 4-class HTML/CSS course runs for two weeks (on Tuesdays and Thursdays).

Class 1, HTML Basics: Thursday, April 7, 7-9p

Class 2, Introduction to CSS: Thursday, April 14, 7-9p

Class 3, HTML, Beyond the Basics: Thursday, April 21, 7-9p

Class 4, CSS, Layouts and Formatting: Thursday, April 28, 7-9p

About the Instructor: 

Jisan is a Fullstack Software Developer, originally from NYC. He works as a technical consultant for Blackstone Technology Group. In his day to day, he works constantly with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, AngularJS, NodeJS, MongoDB, Cordova/Phonegap, and a bit of iOS and Android. In his spare time, he cooks/bakes, blues dances, travels whenever he can.

GovDelivery is conveniently located at 1152 15th St NW (STE 800) - a few blocks from the Farragut North metro station (on the red line). 

Refund Policy: 

Your payment guarantees your seat in the course. If something changes after registration and you cannot attend the course, your seat is yours to sell or give to someone else - just please let us know who!  As a rule we don't offer refunds or credits;  Instead your class fee will go toward our chapter fund which we will use to establish a scholarship fund going forward.   That said, please do reach out and let us know if you have extenuating circumstances.
