In our last library workshop we learned some HTML; this time we'll be delving into CSS! CSS styles our HTML and gives us the power to make our websites beautiful. This hands-on workshop will be beginner-friendly.
Detroit Public Library (Main Branch) - TLC Lab
This course will be taught by Alan Languirand.
Alan is a web designer and developer with over 10 years of experience. He's worked for corporations, small businesses and silicon valley startups. He's passionate about technology education and the founder of Apprend, a technology education startup in Detroit.
Metered street parking on Cass, Woodward, Putnam and Kirby Avenues. Free parking in the library staff lot on the south side of the Main Library, all day on Saturdays. Lot is accessible from Putnam Avenue via Cass Avenue. Customers must then use either the Cass or the Woodward entrance.
WHAT TO BRING:
We will be using the library's computer lab, so no need to bring a laptop. Pen & paper for taking notes are recommended.
