What's the big deal about Responsive Design?
The big deal is that there are now one billion different devices on which people can view websites.
....OK, not really one billion, but a lot. Responsive design lets us use media queries to arrange content in a user-friendly manner for the best experience on whatever device a website is viewed on. If your boss or your client aren't already asking for their new or existing projects to be responsive, it might be up to you to educate them about it and offer it as an option.
Led by Laura Eagin, this workshop will help you understand how responsive design is done, and give you the tools and resources to create a responsive website. Participants should have a basic understanding of HTML & CSS, enough to be comfortable editing it in a text editor and inspecting it in the browser.
Snacks & drinks will be provided by Atomic Object.
Minimum enrollment is 10 students.
