Come discover a new ‘Approach to Designing and Developing Native Mobile Apps’ Apps’ - an approach that integrates design, prototyping and development. ‘Fuse’ unifies development with design through rapid, real-time workflow, visual tools and simplified code, resulting in real, native apps for both iOS and Android (from the same codebase) - all the way from prototype to the app store.
In this presentation, we'll show some examples of what can be achieved with 'Fuse', and briefly examine the makeup of a finished app.

About the speakers
Andreas Rønning is a feature engineer with Fuse based in Oslo and Palo Alto. Before Fuse, Andreas enjoyed a diverse 15 years long career as a designer, interactive developer and musician, working in games, interactive art, expo and advertising. A freelancer for years, Andreas believes strongly in practicing pragmatism, independence and flexibility - whether it's in, ethos, approach or tooling.
Juan I. Serra is a Visual Designer specializing in digital interfaces and user experience. Originally from Argentina, he now lives in NYC. Alongside designing, he has always had a passion to create things with code which ultimately took him on the path to the world of IoT. He has been using Fuse since the first betas. Among other things, he designed and developed a check-in application for his favorite co-working space. He's interested in getting more people involved in learning about Fuse so he created the first NYC Fuse Meet Up group. A firm believer in the power of self learning, he wants to create a community where people can learn from each other and develop their own projects.
