CSS3 brings with it a slew of new properties to really make your pages pop. There are also new ways to produce dynamic animations, all with CSS. Come learn the new properties, and how to use them to spice up your website. This class is mostly lecture-driven, so you don't need to bring a laptop unless you'd like to look on at the slides on your computer. The class will run from 7-9pm.

We will cover a wide range of the many new CSS3 effects, including:
Gradients Adding shadows to text and elements alike Rounded corners Element Transforms (scale, skew, rotate, translate) Adding Animation with CSS3 Transitions How to gracefully fall back to CSS2 in older browsers with the Modernizr library This course is taught by Alexis Goldstein, a co-author of the book "HTML5 and CSS3 for the Real World."
Pre-requisite: The Intro to HTML/CSS class, or a working knowledge of HTML/CSS.
If you would like to try out the new CSS3 properties in class, bring a laptop with your favorite HTML editor!
