About this event

These classes are designed to introduce our students to the concepts behind developing rich, data driven web applications. We will be incorporating MongoDB to illustrate these concepts, and teach students the magic that is AJAX.

Class 1 topics:

What is Object Oriented Programming? What is a Class? What classes are needed in different types of applications? What should I be tracking in my database? What is a query?

RSVP to this class guarantees you a seat in all four classes in this series.

Class 1 - Wednesday, October 6 7pm-9pm
Class 2 - Wednesday, October 13 7pm-9pm
Class 3 - Wednesday, October 20 7pm-9pm
Class 4 - Wednesday, October 27 7pm-9pm


Decent working knowledge of HTML/CSS and JavaScript
Knowledge of current operating system and file directories
Laptop (if you don't have one, let us know- we have a few extras)
