Interested in becoming an instructor, teaching assistant, or volunteer for Girl Develop It NYC courses/workshops?
Join us on Monday, December 1st from 7-8:30pm to discuss the responsibilities and benefits of working with Girl Develop It. We're also accepting submissions for new course offerings by subject-matter-experts. If you're interested in sharing your knowledge to support underrepresented groups in technology, please join us!
In 2015, we plan to expand our curriculum, course offerings, and professional workshops to the public. In addition to the topics covered in our open source curriculum we offer now, we'll be seeking instructors with knowledge in other fields and teaching assistants to help support students throughout the learning process.
If you're well versed in any of the topics below (or others) and have a desire to teach, please attend the information session:
Agile Development and DevOps, Design for Developers, Development for Designers.
Professional networking and salary negotiations, Visibility: speaking at conferences + writing professional blog posts, event planning, content creation, photography, graphic design.

Dev Bootcamp will host the event. Light snacks and beverages will be provided. If you're unable to attend the meetings and cannot commit to instruction or volunteering, please considering making a donation, in any amount, to the organization. Seating is limited, so please only RSVP if you are certain that you'll be able to attend.
