About this event

This class will be taught on two Wednesdays (9/14 + 9/21) 7:00pm - 9:00pm both days.

Python powers some of the world's most popular websites and apps, like Google, reddit, Pinterest and Instagram.

Join us for this intermediate class designed for those who have some Python experience, some programming experience, or those who attended our May Intro to Python course. During this interactive class, we'll explore the basic components of Python as a programming language: data types, functions, conditional statements and loops, we'll also provide an introduction to data structures. We will mix lecture and practice, and we'll work through lots of problems together. You'll leave the workshop with the knowledge, confidence and enthusiasm to continue coding in Python.

Class 1: Python Review and Set Up | WEDNESDAY September 14, 7pm-9pm
Class 2: Python functions and Data Structures | WEDNESDAY September 21, 7pm-9pm

We'll spend part of the first class helping you set up a development environment and catching you up on Python. Just bring your laptop and come prepared to write some lines of Python code.

This class is $90.00; the cost covers both days of courses.

All attendees are expected to abide by the Girl Develop It Code of Conduct.
