About this event

GDI is hosting another HTML/CSS course to kick off the New Year! If you're just learning to code, interested in web development, comfortable with CMSs like Wordpress and Tumblr but craving more control, this is the class for you!

We will guide you through the basics of HTML and CSS, give you some readily-applicable skills, and answer any questions you may have along the way. This is an introductory course that covers the basics of building a website. There are no prerequisites--this is our intro-level course.

The course will be taught by Amy Gimma,  with curriculum contributed by Alexis Goldstein, author of the book "HTML5 and CSS3 for the Real World."  TAs will be on hand to help out!

Join us for this course or the next!

Because we must have the class list in advance, registration closes the day before this class.

This 4-class HTML/CSS course runs back-to-back on Wednesday/Thursday for two consecutive weeks:

Class 1, Introduction to HTML: Jan. 7th, 7-9pm

Class 2, Introduction to CSS: Jan. 8th, 7-9pm

Class 3, HTML, beyond the basics: Jan. 14th, 7-9pm

Class 4, CSS, layouts and formatting: Jan. 15th, 7-9pm

Please install the following prior to class:
