About this event

In this evening workshop, we will introduce jQuery, the most popular JavaScript library for making webpages interactive. Just like with our one-day workshops, we'll have hands-on exercises throughout the night. For any of you who've gone to our JS intro workshop or learnt JS on their own, this will be a great follow-up workshop.

The course will be taught by Liz Howard, a local web developer. If you're interested in helping out as a teaching assistant, please let us know.

Please install the following prior to the workshop:

A code editor. We recommend Notepad++ for Windows and SublimeText for Mac. A modern browser. We recommend Google Chrome (best) or Mozilla Firefox with the Firebug plugin. Thanks to our sponsor Citizen Space for the great location!

If you'd like to attend but cannot afford the cost, please request a GDI scholarship.
