Nowadays, most web developers are using "MVC" concepts and frameworks to organize the JS that powers their website and better separate the presentation from the data.
In this evening workshop, we'll give an overview of MVC frameworks and spend most of our time actually getting our hands dirty using MVC concepts. We'll give an overview of popular frameworks, like Backbone, but we will not focus on any framework in particular.
As a prerequisite, you should be fairly familiar with JS, jQuery, AJAX, and OO, either by attending our workshops or learning elsewhere. Bring a laptop, a charger, and a smile.
Thanks to Adobe for the great space.
If you'd like to attend but cannot afford the cost, please request a GDI scholarship.
Please note that we cannot issue refunds, since there's an overhead to issuing refunds via Meetup.com and we already offer the workshops at such a low-cost. We put proceeds into the chapter fund, which we use as our scholarship fund.
