Want to make your webpages interactive? Then you'll need to use JavaScript, the language of the web.
In this one-day workshop, we will cover how to use JavaScript with webpages - starting with using it to manipulate the HTML/CSS on a page, then attaching events to respond to user interaction, and finally, animating parts of your page.
This workshop will be a self-paced format using Khan Academy's online course, and will be interlaced with pair programming, show and tells, and demos.
Prerequisites:
This workshop assumes that you have already learnt JavaScript basics - either by attending our JS101, JS102, Codecademy, Khan Academy, Eloquent JS, or elsewhere. You should have an understanding of variables, functions, arrays, and objects.
This workshop also assumes you have a basic understanding of HTML/CSS, like from our HTML/CSS, Codecademy, or elsewhere.
If you're not sure if you have the prerequisite knowledge, please send me a message.
