This workshop is an introduction to AngularJS, an MVC framework that was created by Googlers and is now one of the most popular frameworks. AngularJS helps you create large data-driven webapps with dynamic interfaces.
The workshop will be taught by Aysegul Yonet, who is using Angular to create real-time data visualizations and interactive tools at Poshly, Inc. If you're interested in helping out as a teaching assistant, please let us know.
Prerequisites:
You should be familiar with object oriented JavaScript and DOM programming, like by having attended our JS OO/MVC workshops or elsewhere. Familiarity with other frameworks is helpful but not necessary.
Supplies:
Please bring a laptop and charger. We may be using pairing stations for the exercises, but you will likely want a laptop during the lecture portions.
Bicycles:
There is bike parking in the basement. Please do not bring bicycles up to the 8th floor.
Thank you to Hack Reactor for the great location!
If you'd like to attend but cannot afford the cost, please request a GDI scholarship.
