This workshop is for programmers who are job hunting. Whether you just finished a bootcamp, have no background in algorithms, or it's been a long time since you've studied algorithms, by the end of the workshop you will be more confident in front of the whiteboard and more informed about popular whiteboarding questions.
This hands-on workshop will have you practicing these skills throughout the day in front of a whiteboard and is taught by Amelia Downs, who is a Software Engineer at Pivotal Cloud Foundry and who led Dev Bootcamp's Algorithm Nights in the past and, and Jessica Dene Earley, Lab Instructor at Hackbright Academy.
Lunch will be provided.
In this workshop we’ll cover:
• The art of whiteboarding
• Stacks and queues
• Big O
• Linked Lists
Prerequisites: You should be proficient in at least one programming language, it doesn’t matter which one.
What to bring:
Your laptop, if you'd like to follow along with the slides.
Payment is required to attend. If you'd like to attend but cannot afford the cost, request a scholarship. Due to the amount of applications, only the scholarship recipient will receive an email a few days before the workshop. Thank you for your understanding!
