Intro to Git and Github

Confused about Git? Not anymore! Join this workshop to easily understand how to use a repo, manage Github, and build confidence in how to use these valuable tools! This workshop offer hands-on, collaborative exploration and support to get you up to speed on all-things-Git.

About this event

Git is a version control tool that many developers use to keep track of code changes, collaborate with other developers, and organize and manage a project. In this workshop, we'll learn the anatomy of a repo, understand how to navigate Github, and go through common use cases for using version control. We'll also learn the basics of using git to create a repository for our code, clone other repositories for collaboration, make feature branches and merge changes.
