Curious about Python? This class will provide an overview of the basics concepts of Python and usages.

About this event

Python is becoming a powerful skill to have. Python is being used in Data Science, Networking, Web Development, Artificial Intelligence, Machine, and much more. This introduction level course will review the basic concepts of Python. It is perfect for students who are curious about career options and want to understand the work better. Some topics we will discuss include:

  • What is Python?
  • How Python is different than other languages?
  • How to setup Python?
  • Writing your very first basic program
  • Basic data types
  • Python documentation

We will be using Repl for this class.  It would be helpful to set up a free account (if you don't have one) before the class.

Your laptop (Mac, PC, and Linux are all okay).
