Intro to Tableau Cohort (6-class series)

What is Tableau and how can it help you? This learning cohort will show students how to install, load data and maximize this powerful tool.

About this event

Intro to Tableau:

Introduction to Tableau will cover how to get and install Tableau and some information about the Tableau software. The class will focus on how to load data into Tableau, create quick visualizations and design a simple dashboard. There will be a small project on designing a dashboard with steps outlined throughout course.

This is a cohort class - and will run for a total of 12 instructional hours over 4 classes (each 2.5 hours long). The class days and times are:

  • Tuesday January 19th, 7:00 - 9:30pm EST
  • Wednesday January 20th, 7:00 - 9:30pm EST
  • Tuesday January 26th, 7:00 - 9:30pm EST
  • Wednesday January, 27th, 7:00 - 9:30pm EST

The class will include hands-on work and assignments. Students will benefit both from the instructor's knowledge and the peer-to-peer interactions.

No shows: Your course fee will be donated to the GDI scholarship fund.

Cancellation Policy: Class is subject to cancellation if there are fewer than 5 registrations 5 days before class start date.
