Are you interested in seeing more women and non-binary individuals in technical careers? Do you have a passion for learning and want to share it with others? Do you want a rewarding way to earn money while connecting with others? Then GDI wants you!
As a GDI instructor, you will introduce students to the world of tech, many of whom are learning to code for the first time. GDI’s primary goal is to create comfortable, safe spaces for individuals to learn. While knowledge about content is necessary, patience and encouragement to connect with students is paramount.
We envision a world where all people are included and empowered in developing the future of technology. You can help us achieve this mission by sharing your experience and expertise in your field. As an instructor for GDI, you welcome students to tech and build community with peers, new and experienced, in data science, engineering, front-end development, and more! Instructors are valued for their experience; they are paid, appreciated, and offered the opportunity to participate in all of our courses, free of charge.
As an instructor, you set your own schedule; you teach when it fits into your personal and professional schedule. We have curriculum available on specific topics for you to access and also welcome your teaching styles and materials. We support collaboration and collective access to our education by using and adding to our open-source curriculum on our Github Repo.
Help us shape an accessible, equitable, fun future for tech professionals. Join us as a GDI Instructor!
