About this event

Overview

JavaScript is among the most popular programming languages today and powers the majority of the web. Looking to get started as a developer? JavaScript is a great first language to learn and can prepare you for other languages. Interested in building dynamic websites? Learning JavaScript is a must to turn static pages into engaging browsing experiences.

In this beginner-friendly series, you will learn programming fundamentals and foundational JavaScript topics:

  • Variables and the basic JavaScript data types (Strings, Numbers, Booleans, Arrays), and operators
  • Understanding control flow—how to set up code logic with conditional statements (if/else, ternary and switch statements)
  • Creating basic loops (for and while loops) to repeat tasks
  • Writing functions to make code reusable and flexible
  • Working with built-in JavaScript methods for Strings, Numbers, Arrays and Objects

Our first ever completely independent on-demand class. You will receive access to pre-recorded videos that teach you core skills you'll need as a Javascript Developer. This class will have 1 Check-In/Q&A session a month while it's open. The following dates are the next coming check-ins.

Event Details:

Thursday, Dec 7th, 2023 @ 6p-7p ET/ 3p-4pm PT

Class Cost: $240 ( 12 hours of pre-recorded instruction + 2 Live Session)
