Overview Looking to get started as a developer? JavaScript is a great first language to learn and can prepare you for other languages. Interested in building dynamic websites? Learning JavaScript is a must to turn static pages into engaging browsing experiences. In this beginner-friendly series, you will learn programming fundamentals and foundational JavaScript topics: This class kicks off with a live virtual session that provides an orientation to JavaScript and then provides on-demand (pre-recorded) materials to take you step-to-step through learning JavaScript basics. Event Details: Tuesday, January 9th 2024, 6:00pm -8:00pm ET/3:00pm - 5:00pm PT Instructor Office House (AMA): Tuesday, Jan. 30th 2024, 6:00pm - 7:00pm ET / 3:00pm - 4:00pm PT on class Zoom link (shared in notes and on Slack following registration) Class Cost: $80 ( 2 hours of live virtual session + 12 hours of pre-recorded videos) Technical Requirements Prerequisites: No prior programming experience is required. Basic knowledge of HTML & CSS is recommended, but not required. We do have an Intro to HTML & CSS course you can take. If you have prior programming experience, you’re welcome to enroll, but this series may be too introductory for you.
