Jan 9, 5:00 – 6:00 PM (UTC)
Learn to build your Linkedin profile and learn how to use the social media site to build authentic connections and maximize your professional network within the tech industry.
How often do you work on your personal brand? Many of us avoid it because it makes up uncomfortable or we feel egotistical for bragging. However, when we apply for jobs or meet new contacts, they are often checking out our profiles and if they are not up to date or telling our professional story, we are missing out.
Linkedin is the place to do this, to build our personal brand and tell our professional story. Sharing our successes, awards and even educational achievement is important.
This workshop will offer an overview of of LInkedin and how to use it not only share your story but to build an active and authentic community.
If you want more, Candice Zakariya our instructor will be hosting a Linkedin 14 Day Writing Challenge.
