GDI rejects the stereotypes that women and non-binary individuals aren’t interested in technology and that people can’t learn tech as adults. GDI chooses to focus on affordable education services for adults who might otherwise be unable to access tech classes, letting them know it’s never too late for them to learn. We are raising $7,200 before May to provide 10 more scholarships in 2023. Please make a donation today and support our scholarships.

What is influence? Why it is important to your career? How to develop influence? Attend this workshop to learn how, even without a title, you can still influence others as you work to achieve your career goals.

About this event

Every single day of your working life is about getting things done, and guess what? A large percentage of that involves other people. You’re either waiting on others to make decisions, you’re looking to gain buy-in from key stakeholders, or simply relying on someone else to complete tasks before moving forward. Life would be very simple if you could wield a title and command people at your every whim, but it doesn’t work like that. We can’t all carry a title, but we can all carry influence.

During this webinar, Nicole will discuss:

  • What is influence
  • Why it is important to your career and
  • How to develop influence

Nicole is a high-energy and results-oriented professional who has worked with diverse multi-cultural teams around the world. She brings 25 years of corporate and technology experience to her training workshops.

Event Details:

  • Thursday, 1:00p - 2:00p ET / 10:00a - 11:00a PT
  • February 16th

Cost: $20
