Join us for our Inaugural Welcome to Tech series!
This four-month guided learning experience is specifically designed for beginners eager to explore the world of technology, web design, and coding. Whether you’re just starting or exploring a new career path, this program will help you go from curious beginner to confident coder—with a supportive community every step of the way.

Starting in December, you’ll receive personalized guidance and peer mentoring from experienced GDI instructors and coaches. Over the course of the program, you’ll take an idea and develop it into a minimum viable project (MVP) by March.

Throughout this journey, you’ll get the support, feedback, and hands-on practice you need to bring your vision to life—building your very own basic web app step by step.

What the class includes:

➡️ Monthly peer mentoring sessions (total of 4 sessions over the course of the series) - Starting January 8th.

➡️ Access to GDI Instructors through a private Slack channel to ask questions on the material and get assistance.

➡️ Access to pre-recorded lessons, including:

• Intro to HTML & CSS

• Web Design Essentials (6-class series)

➡️ Hands-on experience with two live courses:

Essential AI Skills (6 sessions).* Take a deep dive into the world of artificial intelligence and learn how to leverage cutting-edge tools to create, innovate, and tell compelling stories.

From Idea to App: Building with AI (4 weeks).* This program is designed to show you that you can bring your idea to life. You don't need any coding background.

*All classes are recorded, and you do not need to attend live.

Together, we’ll learn how to use AI-powered tools to create a landing page for your web-app idea. A polished first step toward bringing your concept to life.

Between sessions, you’ll stay connected in our private Slack community and our peer support calls. Designed to help you collaborate and provide support and additional insights into the classes.

These series will wrap up in April 2026 with a project presentation.
