What is CSS Grid and why is it a must-have skill to know and master as a developer or web designer?

Similar to Flexbox which came before, CSS Grid is a new layout module of CSS that is completely changing how web UI (user interfaces) can be designed and coded to create responsive, attractive and unique layouts.

This course will cover:
In this mini-cohort, you’ll learn the basics of Grid Layout by building a masonry-style photo display! You’ll understand why Grid Layout was introduced, explore how it’s being used “in the wild”, and work with some of its common properties. By the end, you’ll walk away with a fun application and new CSS knowledge to add to your toolbox!

Event Details:
Three classes held over one week in March for two hours each class. 

Schedule:

  • Class 1: Monday, March 27@ 6p - 8p ET / 3p - 5p PT
  • Class 2: Wednesday, March 29 @ 6p - 8p ET / 3p - 5p PT
  • Class 3: Friday, March 31 @ 6p - 8p ET / 3p - 5p PT

Cost: $120 (6 hours of instruction)

  • Basic understanding of HTML & CSS.
  • Basic understanding of Flexbox is recommended, but not required.
