Overview ECMAScript 6 (also known as ES6) is the current modern standard of Javascript. Like most things in the software world, JavaScript continues to evolve and grow, with new features and syntax added every year. It’s important for developers to stay updated on how the language is changing over time. This six-class cohort series will be an introduction and practical exploration into the modern features and syntax of JavaScript that aspiring frontend developers should know about and be using. This series will also be foundational—a great prerequisite—for those interested in eventually learning and using popular JavaScript frameworks such as React and Vue. Topics to cover will include: Event Details: Dates: Mon, Tue, Wed Class Cost: $240 (for six courses, 12 hours of instruction) Technical Requirements Prerequisites: Basic knowledge of JavaScript is required. JavaScript Fundamentals I (GDI) or the equivalent (Udemy, Codecademy, etc.) This is not an introductory class.
