Doctor, feminist, boss. These are the words that describe Erkeda DeRouen, a double board-certified Family Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine physician and active board member for GDI. These words also illustrate the type of woman captured in her new book, "Medicine Women: An Anthology of Stories and Letters by Female Doctors and Health Professionals" where she recently published a chapter entitled “Adjust Your Crown." In this Lunch and Learn, Dr. DeRouen will discuss the real-life imposter syndrome that plagues every confident, scared, capable, challenged, fierce, demanding, assertive, vulnerable woman - and why there is no place for it in your life.
