Virtual Classes

Imposter Syndrome. It's real... but it has no place in your life. Join us for lessons in muting that nagging voice in your head and other empowering stories from Erkeda DeRouen, double board-certified Family Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine physician, active board member for GDI, and published author as she shares lessons from "Adjust Your Crown,' her most recently published chapter.

About this event

Doctor, feminist, boss.

These are the words that describe Erkeda DeRouen, a double board-certified Family Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine physician and active board member for GDI. These words also illustrate the type of woman captured in her new book, "Medicine Women: An Anthology of Stories and Letters by Female Doctors and Health Professionals" where she recently published a chapter entitled “Adjust Your Crown."

In this Lunch and Learn, Dr. DeRouen will discuss the real-life imposter syndrome that plagues every confident, scared, capable, challenged, fierce, demanding, assertive, vulnerable woman - and why there is no place for it in your life.

This opportunity will connect you with like-minded, strong and empowered women and include wit and wisdom from Dr. DeRouen, whose personal mantra is “Don’t dim your light just because it’s shining in someone else’s eyes.” We hope you join us!
