Are you looking to learn the essentials to start your career in Java Development? Cognixia JUMP proudly partners with GDI to offer exclusive “Intro to Java” boot camp. This two-week collaboration will help attendees gain the basic knowledge needed to start their career in Java Development.  This program will include  lectures, hands-on coding instruction, practice, group projects, and opportunities to exercise knowledge and test skillsets. The course begins on May 3rd and ends on May 14th. The course is offered free to a limited number of attendees -exclusively through the GDI community.

About this Class:

This Intro to Java boot camp is being offered exclusively to women who are interested in enhancing their programming skills! A typical session will be spent in lecture, doing code-alongs, working on projects and exercises, and demonstrating their knowledge.  The curriculum will cover:

Instructor: JUMP Instructor, Orquidia Moreno

Orquidia graduated with a B.S. in Computer Science from Western Connecticut State University. She has worked with Cognixia for the last 2 years, first as a JUMP trainee and now as a Teaching Assistant.

Interests: Painting, drawing, photography, cooking, watching anime, playing games
