JavaScript is a great first language to learn, and can prepare you for other languages. Interested in building dynamic web sites? Learning JavaScript is a must to turn static pages into engaging browsing experiences.

In this beginner-friendly, six-class series, you will learn programming fundamentals and foundational JavaScript topics:

• JavaScript variables and data types
• Data structures: Arrays and Objects
• Built-in JavaScript string and array methods
• Working with conditionals, loops, and functions
• Basics of JavaScript in the browser (DOM)

Prerequisites:

No prior programming experience is required. Basic knowledge of HTML & CSS is recommended, but not required.

If you have prior programming experience, you’re welcome to enroll, but this series may be too introductory for you.
