The class is a continuation of Python Cohort I (but open to anyone with a basic understanding of Python) This class will focus on handling exceptions, working more with strings(slicing, indexing, duplicating, join, and split), dates and times, dictionaries, how to use text, csv, and binary files. There will be a small project with steps outlined throughout course. Prerequisite: Familiarity with the basics of variables, strings, integers, functions, modules, testing, debugging, lists and tuples. This is a cohort class - and will run for a total of 12 instructional hours over 6 classes (each 2 hours long). The class days are times are: The class will include hands-on work and assignments. Students will benefit both from the instructor's knowledge and the peer-to-peer interactions.
