Confident with your knowledge of Python and ready to take it to the next level? Join our August cohort series, offered over the course of two weeks, to dive deeper into the fundamental programming concepts and the programming language.

About this event

This event is ideal for participants who have completed our Python I Series cohort (or another introductory to Python program). This class will advance your knowledge of and comfort using Python for a variety of projects.

This will be a series of interactive workshops where we will explore the components of a programming language: data types, functions, conditional statements, and loops. We'll mix lecture and practice, and we'll work through lots of problems together. You'll leave the workshop with several tested tutorials to work through on your own.

This is a cohort class and will run for a total of 12 instructional hours over 6 classes (each 2 hours long). The class dates and times are:

The class will include hands-on work and assignments. Students will benefit both from the instructor's knowledge and the peer-to-peer interactions.
