This event is ideal for participants who have completed our Python I Series cohort (or another introductory to Python program). This class will advance your knowledge of and comfort using Python for a variety of projects.
This will be a series of interactive workshops where we will explore the components of a programming language: data types, functions, conditional statements, and loops. We'll mix lecture and practice, and we'll work through lots of problems together. You'll leave the workshop with several tested tutorials to work through on your own.

Pamela Fox is a lecturer for UC Berkeley and is currently teaching courses in computer programming. She is the creator of the computer programming curriculum for Khan Academy. She has founded GDI chapters globally and develops curriculum for GDI.
